As this is written, Boyd’s 110th
Columbian Year is drawing to a close. I would like to take this opportunity to thank each of you
for the role you have played in keeping Boyd Council viable. That
being said, it would be a mistake to rest on our laurels. Once again, I use this space to restate my
challenge to the membership to contribute your skills and talents to improve
the Council continually. As I approach
my third and final year as your Grand Knight, I continue to view the
utilization of our membership's talent as my primary task and, frankly, my most
formidable challenge.
This edition of the Unit contains
news about many upcoming events, including Council elections on this coming
Thursday evening. I hope to see you
there, and look forward with confidence to our working together in the upcoming
Columbian Year.
I wish you and your families a happy
and healthy summer!
Fraternally, Christopher C. Farley

look forward to seeing Ken and many others members on our next trip to
A wet
spring has played havoc with outdoor events far and wide, and the New York
Chapter Softball League is no exception.
The good news is that Dead End boasts the League’s only undefeated

coming at the hands of its Council brothers.
