MAY 1992

Chance Books

The chance books enclosed should be returned as promptly as possible, since the drawing will be held on May 22nd.  The proceeds go to a worthy cause - Calvary Hospital - and a strong return will provide our council with some additional income.  Your support is greatly appreciated - Ed Flanagan, Chairman

Nominations and Elections

Nominations for office will be made at the membership meeting this month on the night of May 19th at 8:00 PM.  If there is anyone interested in running for a particular office, please contact our hotline and leave a message on the machine (914) 237 - 2747.  The council elections will follow on June 16th at 8:00 PM.

Membership Dues

Carmine Tabacco, the Financial Secretary, reports that while the dues returns have been good to this point, there are still quite a few members who are in arrears.  If you have any questions regarding your current status, leave a message on the machine and Carmine will get back to you as soon as possible.  We would like to see you save the postage and pay your dues at a meeting - this will enable you to volunteer your suggestions and your time to all the current council efforts.
