MAY 1992

Chance Books

The chance books enclosed should be returned as promptly as possible, since the drawing will be held on May 22nd. The proceeds go to a worthy cause - Calvary Hospital - and a strong return will provide our council with some additional income. Your support is greatly appreciated - Ed Flanagan, Chairman

Casino Night

On February 8th, Bill Nage and Ed Carey ran a Casino Night at the Bajart American Legion Post on McLean Ave. More than 25 members contributed their time, and in many cases their money, to make this both a fun and profitable venture by the council. Many thanks to both chairmen, and to all the many volunteers who helped make the night a success.

A Night at Yonkers Raceway

On March 7th, almost 60 people enjoyed a great night of dining and gambling. This event was organized by Dennis Farley and revived what was once an annual event of the council. There were many winners and a lot of laughs that evening as a good time was had by one and all.
